- Most of Lucky’s bars are oversized so it’s appropriate that they have a double clamp that works with oversized bars with a slit. The DUBL clamp is a light weight double clamp that features quite a few cutouts to reduce weight without sacrificing clamping power and durability. Lucky clamps use 6000 series aircraft aluminum and CNC machine it to create the cutouts, resulting in an attractive, light weight clamp. The Lucky clamp is a double clamp. Double clamps are super light weight and the choice of most pro scooter riders, whether they ride street or park. Double clamps only have 2 bolts to compress your bars around your forks so, while they are effective, a triple or quad clamp will provide more clamping power and reduce the frequency with which you will have to tighten your clamp bolts. The Lucky double clampThe Lucky scooter clamp includes standard M6 bolts, which provide adequate clamping power but can strip if overtightened. It is a good practice with any compression bolt to tighten each bolt 1/2 turn at a time, one bolt at a time, until all bolts are completely tight. The Lucky DUBL Clamp works with the following types of compression: IHC,ICS,ICS10,HIC,TCS. If you are looking for a very light weight scooter clamp, the Lucky DUBL 2 bolt clamp just might be the perfect clamp for you!

- Scooter clamps are intended to provide the compression around your bars and forks so that they spin together in unison. Scooter clamps are utilized with IHC and HIC compression (not SCS). Your clamp size should correspond to the outer diameter of the bars that you are riding – oversized or standard. MOST clamps come with a shim, which allows use with either standard or oversized outer diameter bars. Remove the shim from the clamp to ride oversized outer diameter bars with a slit; keep the shim in to ride standard bars with a slit. One additional note – an oversized clamp without a shim will only fit oversized outer diameter bars; a standard clamp without a shim will only fit standard outer diameter bars. If your clamp comes with a shim, it will work with either standard or oversized outer diameter bars. If your bars DO NOT HAVE A SLIT, they are SCS bars and do not require a clamp, but rather an SCS compression system.
